§ 20-25. Enforcement.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is empowered to investigate any situation where a person is alleged to be violating this article. If an officer encounters a circumstance which reasonably indicates that a person is violating this article, the officer will conduct either a sound level measurement test or noise disturbance determination in accordance with section 20-22 of this article to determine whether or not a violation of this article exists. Nothing in this article shall prohibit the Lee County Sheriff's Office from charging persons responsible for acts which affect the peace and quiet of persons who may witness them for breach of the peace or disorderly conduct under F.S. § 877.03, as may be amended from time to time.
